In a recent article released on grapevine, the CDC in America is not providing enough funds to low income earners to quit smoking. I think this will raise some eyebrows amongst non-smokers.
I guess the first question is if a smoker can afford cigarettes, shouldn’t they also be able to afford to quit cigarettes? After all, it will save them money?
The next question is, if the government provides the money, does this then mean the smoker is not taking responsibility and will be less likely to be successful. It shall be interesting to see what happens.
